This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

The Commercial Court reserved its decision on an application to make three DQ Entertainments Ireland Ltd directors personally liable for €30 million in company debts, after a hearing on 28 June 2022.

The application was brought by receiver Patrick Bance against Rashida Adenwala, Tapaas Chakravarti and Sanjay Choudhary. The receiver also sought an order winding up the company and declarations concerning alleged reckless trading, creditor fraud, inadequate records and misuse of company money.

The application proceeded uncontested because the respondents did not appear. The judge said he was reserving his decision after the receiver’s submissions.

Separate proceedings against the company’s two Galway-based directors, Leo Condron and Dominic Poole, had been settled and were to be struck out without an order for costs.
