Damien Graham received a six-month suspended sentence at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 30 June 2023 after pleading guilty to four firearm offences.
The offences included possessing and importing a prohibited machine gun bolt and possessing and importing an assault rifle conversion kit without a certificate at Dublin Airport on 28 November 2021.
Graham had arrived from the United States with 15 firearm components; two were imported illegally. The judge said the conduct was reckless but found no sinister motive and decided Graham did not merit an immediate custodial sentence.
