Conor McGregor denied Supreme Court appeal in rape case
This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.
Conor McGregor’s appeal against the civil rape finding was refused by the Supreme Court on 4 December 2025. The Court declined to hear a further appeal from the Court of Appeal’s dismissal of his challenge to the jury’s finding that he raped Nikita Hand in a Dublin hotel in December 2018.
The Supreme Court said the application raised no matter of general public importance warranting an appeal and that an appeal was not justified in the interests of justice. It was satisfied that McGregor had received a fair hearing, including a full appeal to the Court of Appeal, despite the admission at trial of evidence about his no-comment answers to gardaí.
