Chunjie Wang jailed for organising prostitution in Dublin

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Chunjie Wang was jailed for 18 months for organising prostitution at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 14 April 2016. She organised four brothels in Rathmines, Swords, Blanchardstown and Clondalkin over seven months in 2011. Wang pleaded guilty after investigators linked her to the operation, which involved coordinating sexual services and taking payments. Judge Melanie Greally said the seriousness of the offence made imprisonment unavoidable, while noting the case did not involve trafficking or exploitation of prostitutes.
