Christopher McDonald, 34, from East Wall in Dublin, denies murdering Keith Walker. The proceedings were reported on 23 June 2017.
The prosecution’s case is that McDonald murdered Walker in June 2015 while dressed as a woman. It believes Walker was shot 18 times by McDonald.
Eugene Giles told the trial he saw a woman with long black hair and rounded sunglasses outside Blanchardstown Pigeon Club. He said that, after hearing what he thought were firecrackers and people screaming that someone had been shot, he saw the person put a machine gun into a large holdall and run from the club.
The report said Walker had been dropping pigeons off for his friend Jason O’Connor. In a statement read in court on 23 June 2017, O’Connor said he was shocked and devastated when he heard his friend was dead.
