Alice Connors was sentenced to five years, with the final two-and-a-half years suspended, at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, as reported on 28 April 2021.
She had pleaded guilty to two robberies, one attempted robbery and two criminal-damage counts arising from incidents in Dublin city centre and at Kevin Street Garda Station. During the robberies, Connors used a knife and a broken bottle, and one victim's laptop was taken.
The court was told Connors had experienced homelessness, drug misuse and mental-health difficulties. Judge Martin Nolan found her equally culpable with the co-accused and imposed the sentence with the final half suspended on strict conditions.
