The Labour Court recommended that Haleon should not concede a claim by 41 workers for cash equivalents of milestone share awards. Its recommendation was dated 13 July 2026. The workers, represented by Unite the Union, are operatives at Stafford Miller Ireland’s oral care facility in Dungarvan, part of the Haleon Group. They had stayed in a legacy bonus scheme, while Haleon’s Global Bonus Plan provides share awards at service milestones. The union sought cash equivalents, estimating a cost of €173,010 over 15 years. Haleon said workers would need to transfer to the Global Bonus Plan to receive the awards. The Court noted that the workers had chosen the legacy scheme because they considered it more advantageous and retained the option to transfer. It saw no basis to recommend conceding the claim.
