The Labour Court recommended that Permanent TSB (PTSB) apply half of its 4.7% 2024 pay figure to employees’ pay rates and the other half through its existing PRP mechanism. The recommendation was dated 4 December 2024. The dispute with Members Of Unite The Union concerned how the pay figure would be applied. It covered 2024 and was to take effect from 1 January that year. The Court said it had considered the parties’ written and oral submissions and considered it important to resolve the dispute at that time.
