The Labour Court recommended that Analog Devices recognise Connect Trade Union as representative of its members among the company’s five cycle shift technicians and engage with it on the issues in dispute. The recommendation was dated 6 March 2024. The union sought individual representation on grievance and disciplinary matters and collective representation on pay and employment terms. Analog Devices declined to attend the hearing but submitted its position in writing. The Court said its absence deprived it of an opportunity to engage with the company.
