Labour Court recommends resolving Liviu Lucian Ionut's trade dispute with employer

The Labour Court recommended that Vladimir Vecerin Pepito Trade and Liviu Lucian Ionut conclude their trade dispute as resolved. The recommendation was signed on 16 February 2024. Ionut had appealed an adjudication officer's recommendation, saying he was dismissed without notice or explanation. The employer said a client had ended its contract, leaving no further work, and that several staff lost their jobs for the same reason. The Court was satisfied no dismissal for disciplinary reasons had taken place. It said no useful purpose would be served by deciding the circumstances of the trade dispute while Ionut pursued other legal complaints, including one about notice.
