The Labour Court recommended tax-efficient vouchers for eligible Vantastic staff as part of a settlement of a retrospective pay dispute involving 30 Workers represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union. The recommendation was dated 12 June 2023. Eligible staff were to receive €200 from 1 July 2023, €200 from 1 December 2023 and €400 from 1 December 2024. Staff who left because of retirement or medical circumstances before a payment date were to receive outstanding amounts on departure; other departing staff were excluded. The employer also committed to pay eligible former staff their individual financial loss from the deferred 2020 increase until departure.
