The Labour Court recommended staged pay increases and bonuses for Kyte Powertech’s 350 General Operatives after two 24-hour stoppages. Its supplemental recommendation, dated 5 September 2022, sets out increases running through 2024.

The Court recommended a 4% increase in basic pay from 1 January 2022, followed by increases of 3.5% from January 2023 and 3% from January 2024. Welders would receive an additional 1.5% increase from January 2022. The pay agreement was to expire on 31 December 2024.

For 2022, the Court recommended €500 in Christmas bonus vouchers. From 2023, it recommended a €750 bonus, including €325 guaranteed and €425 linked to productivity. The parties were to agree performance measures, with unresolved issues eligible for referral back to the Court. The recommendation also capped the number of union committee members released at seven.

The workers were represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union. This was a supplemental recommendation to be read with LCR 22615; the Court made recommendations on pay and related issues.
