The Labour Court did not recommend that the Health Service Executive concede a worker’s claim about hours and assignment rotations. It issued the recommendation on 17 July 2019. The worker said a change in practices after relocation ended rotation of assignments and created an unfair work pattern. The Court said the arrangements came from a 2017 collective agreement, which the union’s members continued to support. The Court concluded that changing the arrangements required collective engagement and a subsequent agreement.
