The Labour Court recommended that Alstom Transport Ireland’s proposal on a pay claim and changes to its grading structure be put to a ballot of Technical, Engineering And Electrical Union members, with amendments. The recommendation was signed on 25 November 2016. The Court recommended that the company share information about the proposed three-grade structure before the ballot. It also recommended pay increases of 2.5% from 1 June 2017, 1 June 2018 and 1 June 2019.
