Labour Court recommends facilitated engagement for Laois County Childcare Commitee and worker

The Labour Court recommended that a worker and Laois County Childcare Commitee jointly ask the Workplace Relations Commission Advisory Service to facilitate engagement and help establish procedures for their working relationship. The recommendation was signed on 4 December 2015. The worker, a co-ordinator at the committee, had raised a claim of unfair treatment and said she had experienced harassment, intimidation and bullying. The Court noted that previous efforts to investigate and mediate the issues had not resolved them. The worker remained employed by the committee.
