The Labour Court recommended that Park Rite let a worker’s final written warning expire on 11 September 2014, the date of its recommendation. SIPTU referred the dispute over the warning. The Court found that Park Rite’s disciplinary procedures were not fully in line with S.I. 146/2000 and that the company applied them deficiently. It also found that the worker’s behaviour towards a supervisor warranted a disciplinary sanction. The Court recommended that Park Rite bring its procedures into line with the standard and review how it administers them.
