The Labour Court recommended that Component Distributors (Car Ireland) Limited, trading as Quinton Hazel, use independent mediation if difficulties remained with a worker who alleged bullying and harassment. The recommendation was signed on 25 February 2013. The worker said the company failed to investigate his complaint and sought an apology and compensation. The company said it investigated after learning of the allegations. The Court did not find that a case for loss-of-earnings compensation had been made out and said both sides should work positively to put the events behind them.
