The Labour Court recommended that Teagasc honour its director’s unconditional offer to appoint a worker to a Post of Responsibility. The recommendation was signed on 30 July 2010. The worker, represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, had applied unsuccessfully for four posts and appealed. The Court accepted that the director had made an appointment offer and that the worker had accepted it.
