The Labour Court did not recommend concession of a worker’s claim that the interview process for a foreman post at the Department Of Defence’s vehicle workshop at the Curragh was unfair. The recommendation was dated 25 April 2006. The union said the interview disadvantaged the worker, who had 35 years’ service and had acted as foreman. The Court was not convinced the matters raised had tainted the process with unfairness and found no compelling basis to recommend the claim.
