The Labour Court recommended that disputes involving Clearstream Technologies Limited and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union be processed locally under the relevant grievance procedure, then through normal dispute-resolution methods if unresolved. The matters concerned payment for attending third-party investigations, sick pay for one worker and the grievance and disciplinary procedure. The Court said the disputes had not been processed through the normal procedures. If they remained unresolved after that process, either party could apply for definitive recommendations without another hearing. The recommendation was signed on 29 July 2005.
