The Labour Court recommended that Iarnrod Eireann treat a Clerical Assistant's probation as having ended on 17 December 1999 and provide her with an opportunity to reapply for a Clerical Officer Class 3 position. The recommendation was dated 31 July 2000. The union disputed the re-imposition of probation and the worker's unsuccessful application for a post in Limerick. The Court also recommended that she seek available feedback on the promotion assessment.
