The Labour Court recommended that Crosbie Transcar recognise the Amalgamated Transport And General Workers' Union for employees who belonged to it. The Court also recommended that the matter proceed under the High Level Group procedures. The recommendation was dated 2 June 2000. The union said a substantial number of Dublin-based employees had joined and wanted representation on their employment conditions. Crosbie Transcar was not represented at the hearing.
