The Labour Court recommended that Easons Limited review its pension scheme and put proposals to the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union by 31 January 2000. It did not concede the union’s sick-pay claim and recommended a review of profit sharing. Easons said its sick-pay scheme compared well with others and it was not prepared to discuss profit sharing. The recommendation was signed on 10 December 1999.
