Labour Court upholds earlier recommendation on Airmotive Ireland 10% payment claim

In 1996, the Labour Court upheld its earlier recommendation that no 10% approval payment be conceded to workers at Airmotive Ireland. The recommendation, signed on 11 November, followed consideration of an assessor’s report on inspectors’ and lead craftsmen’s work. The Court also recommended that no further action be taken over loans made to employees when normal working resumed. The clarification concerned a claim by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, the Amalgamated Engineering and Electrical Union, and the Technical, Engineering and Electrical Union.
