Labour Court recommends further talks on FBD commission changes

In 1995, the Labour Court recommended that FBD Insurance and the FBD Field Staff Association hold further discussions on option 2 of the company's proposed commission changes. The talks were to finish within one month of the recommendation, signed on 21 December 1995; if no agreement was reached, the Court said it would make a further recommendation. The Court accepted that some commission arrangements needed updating but acknowledged employees' concerns about possible earnings losses. The association said it would consider restructuring if members' earnings were protected.
