The Labour Court recommended that the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union withdraw its objection to time-charter vessels used during annual overhauls at B & I Line P.L.C. The recommendation was dated 1 March 1991. The Court recommended limits of 35 days a year for the Munster and Leinster and 21 days for the Copax, with extensions to be considered sympathetically by the union. It also recommended that the company upgrade the M.V. Bison under the November 1989 pay agreement, and that an assessor or tribunal examine outstanding union claims within the five-year viability plan.
