In 1990, the Labour Court recommended that Johnson & Johnson (Ireland) Limited not concede the Services Industrial Professional And Technical Union’s claims over Labour Court procedures, the loss of a staff sales facility and a transport manager’s lost earnings. The Court said the subject matter had already been dealt with. A 1988 Labour Court ruling rejected the company’s appeal and awarded the transport manager £2,000 for projected overtime loss. The Court considered that earlier ruling when rejecting the later claims.
