The Labour Court recommended that Dublin Corporation restore a £21.42 overtime payment it had made to a worker and later withdrawn. The recommendation was dated 27 October 1989. The Irish Municipal Employees' Trade Union said the payment followed a long-standing practice when workers had to collect pay missing because of a Corporation error. Dublin Corporation said the payment was made in error and offered time off in lieu.
