The Labour Court recommended that Nestle (Ireland) Limited pay its canteen assistants the 110% performance bonus without further delay, provided they agreed to cooperate with future changes to canteen operations or equipment. The recommendation was signed on 16 December 1988. The Irish Transport and General Workers' Union and Federated Workers Union of Ireland also sought compensation for continuous working and subsidised training. The Court did not recommend conceding those claims.
