The Labour Court found that a part-time worker had been unfairly dismissed by Dunnes Stores and recommended £150 compensation. The recommendation was signed on 17 December 1987. The Irish Distributive And Administrative Trade Union said she had received little register training, was not warned about errors and had no chance to improve before her dismissal. Dunnes Stores did not attend the hearing.
