The Workplace Relations Commission recommended that Dublin Hotel pay a worker identified as Night Porter €2,000 over harassment complaints and €720 for meals she said she was contractually due but did not receive. The recommendation, dated 27 March 2025, followed an investigation under section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969; it is not a binding adjudication award.

The worker alleged that a manager sent bullying and harassing messages and that management ignored her complaint, leading her to resign. She also said she was assigned work outside her role and lacked necessary logins. The employer did not attend or provide a response. The adjudicator said the employer should have investigated and recommended a review of its bullying, harassment and grievance policies.
