The Labour Court allowed Mr Myles Finnegan's appeal and amended a Rights Commissioner's decision on his holiday pay. It determined that Gamma Geographical And Multimedia must pay him for 2.5 days of outstanding annual leave. The determination was signed on 17 June 1999. The Court found the employer had not given the required month's notice of when annual leave would be taken, leaving Finnegan unaware of the December closure. He had accrued three days' leave and taken half a day.
