Labour Court rejects late working-time appeal against Kinlay Abbey Limited

The Labour Court refused Ionela-Adina Iacobuta’s appeal concerning a complaint under the Organisation of Working Time Act, finding it was lodged outside the 42-day limit and exceptional circumstances had not been established. The decision was signed on 20 April 2026. Iacobuta said she could not appeal in time. The Court said no supporting evidence had been submitted and found it had no jurisdiction to hear the substantive appeal. It did not decide the underlying working-time complaint.
