WRC finds Anastasia Mahlovana received €540 in notice pay

The WRC found Anastasia Mahlovana’s minimum-notice complaint was not well founded, after finding she had received €540 in notice pay. The decision was dated 1 October 2025. Mahlovana said Oic Cleaning Cleaner terminated her employment during probation by email and that her final pay did not include notice pay. The WRC found a payslip dated 11 May 2025 showed payment of €540, calculated at €13.50 for 40 hours. It accepted her evidence that payment was delayed until 30 June, after she filed the complaint. The respondent did not attend the hearing.
