The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) found it had no jurisdiction to hear Paudy O Brien’s annual-leave complaint against Pergerine Technologies Fpd Recycling, ruling that a signed settlement agreement had compromised the claim. The decision was dated 12 November 2025. O Brien claimed 52 days of outstanding leave from 2023 and 2024. The company said the matter was settled and the complaint waived. O Brien argued that a €56,000 tax deduction reduced the settlement payment and left the claim unresolved. The WRC found he signed with informed consent after receiving legal advice, and declared the complaint not well founded.
