WRC finds Pensions Act complaint against Department of Social Protection misconceived

The Workplace Relations Commission found Kristine Galinska’s Pensions Act complaint against the Department Of Social Protection misconceived. No monetary award was recorded. Adjudication Officer Conor Stokes dated the decision 6 November 2025. The Department argued that the complaint did not concern an occupational pension and was outside the statutory time limit. Galinska confirmed that it was not about an occupational pension and no issue had arisen in the six months before she lodged it.
