WRC rejects Infosys worker’s protected disclosure penalisation complaint

The Workplace Relations Commission found Richard Buckley’s complaint against Infosys Bpm was not well founded, with no award recorded. Adjudication Officer Máire Mulcahy dated the decision 15 June 2026. Buckley alleged that the company penalised him after he reported offensive comments about a colleague and later resigned. The WRC found that one report qualified as a protected disclosure, but he did not establish that it led to penalisation or his resignation. It found a separate report about his team leader concerned an interpersonal grievance, and older allegations were outside the statutory time limit.
