The Workplace Relations Commission has ordered Consol Concrete Limited to pay Mariusz Katra €4,000 after finding breaches of the Construction Sector Sectoral Employment Order concerning overtime, travel time and pension contributions. The decision was dated 12 March 2025. Katra also alleged workplace bullying and intimidation, including name-calling and water being poured over him. The company denied witnessing or receiving complaints about bullying and said he left for personal reasons. The adjudication officer said some bullying may have occurred but found the safety and health complaint not well founded because Katra had not raised a grievance before resigning. His working-time and Sick Leave Act complaints were withdrawn.
