The Workplace Relations Commission found two complaints by Laura Conway against Beautique Beauty Studio Limited were lodged outside the time limit. The decision, dated 30 January 2024, says the merits were not decided. Conway said she had not been paid for annual leave during her employment or when she left, and believed public-holiday pay was also due. The company denied that any annual-leave or public-holiday entitlements remained unpaid. The adjudicator found the complaints were filed more than six months after Conway received a €191 cheque for an accepted shortfall, and that she had not shown reasonable cause to extend the deadline. The company said it would reissue the cheque.
