The WRC found a teacher’s protected disclosures complaint against a school patron not well founded in a decision dated 30 March 2026. The teacher alleged penalisation after raising concerns about school procedures, safety and workplace conduct, including the handling of a recruitment appeal.
The patron said it had no direct role in employing teachers and denied penalisation. The adjudicator found that the patron had no role in day-to-day school management and no case to answer.
