The Workplace Relations Commission directed Dcd Pubs Ltd to pay Nicole Deeley €2,000 compensation for unpaid annual leave. The decision was dated 28 August 2023. Deeley worked in the pub’s kitchen and said she had not been paid for holidays, among other complaints. The WRC found she had received the minimum breaks, a statement of employment terms and her notice pay. It found the annual-leave payment had not been made and upheld that complaint; the complaints about breaks, written terms and notice were found not well founded.
