The Workplace Relations Commission found Barbara Byrne’s working-time complaint against Paddy Power Betfair Plc not well founded, in a decision dated 3 January 2023. At the hearing, Byrne and the company agreed that Paddy Power Betfair Plc had never been her employer. The WRC therefore rejected the complaint under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997.
