A WRC adjudication officer could not recommend concession of a lecturer's claim for earlier grade progression, in a decision dated 24 April 2017. The claimant said her lecturing experience at other universities meant she should have progressed after two years. The institute of technology said five years' continuous service in the grade was required, and that her time in an administrative grade did not qualify. The officer found that service in another grade did not meet the continuous-service requirement.
