In 1993, the Labour Court recommended that The Beaufield Mews pay a worker four days’ pay in full and final settlement of her unfair dismissal claim. The recommendation was dated 8 February 1993. The worker said she expected to return after a holiday but was not recalled and received no reason for the end of her employment. The Beaufield Mews said she was employed on an on-call basis, no work was available and it sent her P.45 at her request. The Court said management should have shown more consideration when replacing her.
