In 1991, the Labour Court upheld a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation that Fashion Crazes Limited pay a worker £285 in outstanding wages and holiday pay and provide her P45. The Court’s decision was dated 20 December 1991. The worker said she was owed one week’s back pay and two weeks’ holiday pay after five years with the company. Fashion Crazes, which was in liquidation, had no representative at the appeal hearing. The Court said the P45 should be made available immediately.
