The Labour Court disallowed a worker’s appeal and affirmed the recommendation rejecting his occupational injury benefit claim. The decision was signed on 9 February 2015. The worker, represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, said he was injured while driving the company bus and reported it on returning to the depot. Dublin Bus Head Office accepted that he injured his back but disputed that it happened at work. It said he received injury benefit for the 118 days he was absent.
