The Labour Court recommended compensation for a worker who lost her Sunday premium after Q Park Ireland Limited changed her roster. The award was to equal twice her annual loss of income. The decision was signed on 19 July 2010. The worker, represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, had worked Sundays for 11 years before the change. Q Park said falling business and car park revenue prompted the new roster; the worker continued to work 40 hours a week.
