In 2002, the Labour Court upheld a recommendation to resolve a bullying and harassment dispute between Carton Processing Ltd and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union. The decision was signed on 13 December 2002. Two employees alleged their manager verbally abused and bullied them; the company disputed the allegations. The Court said the passage of time made a new inquiry impractical and noted a new grievance procedure was in place. It said the company should not require the employees to express regret, as the Rights Commissioner had recommended. The Court did not make a finding on whether the allegations were true.
