Nature lovers are invited to a weekend of flowers and music as St. Anne’s Park Rose Festival returns this weekend.

This annual, free family-friendly weekend event in Raheny, Dublin , features floral displays, live music, artisan food, and craft stalls. Taking place from 10am to 6pm this Saturday and Sunday, the festival has been running since 1975 and is hosted by Dublin City Council .

Set against the backdrop of Dublin's iconic Rose Garden, other exciting activities include children’s entertainment, climbing activities, arts and crafts, and environmental exhibits. Attendees can also look forward to fitness sessions and enjoying food from all over the world at one of the capital's most anticipated summer events.

Speaking ahead of the festival, Lord Mayor Daryl Barron described it as a “much-loved summer tradition for a generation of Dubliners,” which Dublin City Council are proud to support.

“The festival highlights the beauty of St. Anne's Park while bringing people together to enjoy nature, music, biodiversity and community spirit. With a fantastic programme of free events and activities, there is something for everyone, and I encourage people of all ages to come along and enjoy the weekend,” he said.

Nestled within the historic 270-acre St. Anne's Park, the festival coincides with the peak blooming season of the renowned Rose Garden, now in its fifty-first year. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience thousands of roses in full flower while enjoying a packed programme of events and activities.

One key attraction of this year’s festival is the popular Biodiversity Village, which showcases the work being carried out by environmental, conservation, heritage and community organisations from across Ireland. Here, visitors can meet experts, explore interactive exhibits and learn more about biodiversity, climate action, wildlife conservation and sustainable living .
