Xolani Mdakani was jailed for three years and nine months, with the final nine months suspended, for assault causing harm at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 5 May 2021. The assault happened at Henry Place, Dublin 1, on 9 February 2018. Mdakani had pleaded guilty to grabbing a woman in a headlock and hitting her with a bottle before fleeing when someone shouted from an apartment.
